About the Author:
Rev. Timothy M. Gallagher, O.M.V., has been dedicated for many years to an extensive ministry of retreat work, spiritual direction and teaching in the Ignatian spiritual tradition. He received his doctorate (S.T.D.) from the Gregorian University in 1983. A member of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary, he has published two books on their founder, the Ven. Pio Bruno Lanteri. He served for twelve years in formation work in his religious community, taught at Our Lady of Grace Seminary Residence (Boston) and at St. John's Seminary (Brighton, MA), and was provincial for two terms for the USA province of the Oblates. For the past 20 years he has taught Ignatian discernment in numerous retreats and seminars, nationally and internationally.
