A childrens read-to-me story about a baby's baptism day. The story is written from the perspective of the baby watching the goings-on of the day. The story helps children to understand the Sacrament of Baptism and is especially helpful to prepare siblings for the Baptism of their new brother or sister. Six short essays explain the significance and traditions associated with Baptism. The essays are nice 'refreshers' for Christians who might not have thought about Baptism for a while, and are helpful to explain Baptism to individuals who have not received formal religious education. It becomes a keepsake book with pages for parents and godparents to write their own special message to the baby, include photos of the day, insert a copy of the baptism certificate, and more. It makes a perfect gift and keepsake to commemorate this special day.

Dianne M. Ahern is the author of the first three books from Aunt Dee's Attic: Today I Made My First Communion, Today I Was Baptized, and Today We Became Engaged. Dianne grew up on a farm in Illinois where she and her brother would delight in going to the "attic" to find adventure: they would explore other worlds in make believe, create and tell stories, snoop through Uncle Raymond's trunk, and play with their imaginary animals. Having never quite satisfied her need to explore other worlds, Dianne has and continues to travel extensively in her adult life. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Marian College, a Master of Healthcare Administration from Indiana University, and is currently Vice President of Élan Systems, Inc. Aunt Dee's Attic is a product of Dianne's inventiveness and desire to write about the events that shape our lives.
